Weekly Challenge: Take Control of Your Time

This week’s challenge is to take control of your time. Instead of allowing time to pass you by or battling with getting everything done, this week you’re in charge. It’s time to take an inventory of what you’re giving your attention and effort to and decide if your actions align with your goals and values.

It’s easy to let the ‘mandatory’ obligations take up your entire calendar, but in order to effectively do the things that ‘need’ to be done, you have to maintain a reasonable level of sanity and energy. Take an objective look at your 168 weekly hours and put yourself on your schedule. When you don’t prioritize yourself, you end up giving all of your time to fulfilling other people’s requests. So, schedule some fun, schedule some quiet time, schedule something for YOU or whatever it is that feeds your soul, that encourages your spirit.
